Once only taught to kings, Toide combines Aikido, wrist-locks and hard fist techniques used to disable an opponent. It is one of the more advanced artforms and is taught by the highest ranked Toide martial artist in our area, Sensei Matthew S. Smith. 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Join us Wednesday evenings 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with Sensei Matthew S. Smith and Sensei Billy Bickerstaff as they lead the class through meditative katas and proper forms that are a foundational part of many other artforms. Increase your strength both in body and in mind.
Join us Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for techniques that originated in Okinawa designed to protect you and your loved ones in real-life situations. Sensei Matthew S. Smith leads this class combining the different martial arts forms into one that results in learning the real-world practical applications of the techniques. This class increases your reflex time, hand-eye coordination and sparring abilities.
Enjoy a Friday night out at the dojo with Sensei Billy Bickerstaff and his 10 years of expertise as a Juko-Kai Martial Artist! Learn how to use another’s momentum to your advantage along with different combinations of efficient and effective blocks and strikes that could save your life. Only $20! Give your children the opportunity of a lifetime with martial arts in their curriculum great for discipline, control, confidence, respect and so much more. Youth classes are held Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. under the guidance and instruction of Sensei Matthew S. Smith.
Sensei Matthew S. Smith is the Headmaster of Juko-Ryu Toide & Martial Arts Center and has been studying Martial Arts and body mechanics since he was 7 years old. He has experience in several art forms such as TeaKwonDo, Wing Chun and many more.
Sensei Smith joined Juko-Kai International in 2013, was certified to instruct by the Soke (Head founder) of Juko-Kai and holds ranks in several of the Juko-Kai arts. His highest ranks include a 4th degree black belt in Juko-Ryu Toide & 2nd degree black belt in Goshinjutsu.

Karissa M. Salazar is the manager and Sempai of Juko-Ryu Toide & Martial Arts Center and holds ranks in Toide, Goshinjutsu and Shorin-Ryu Karate. She is a Licensed Dental Hygienist and health advocate for the community and is a survivor of domestic violence. Her personal experience drives her fire for providing safety in the community.

Juko-Ryu Aiki Inyo Toide: An elite art form created by the Kings of Okinawa involving throwing, wrist locks and powerful strikes.
Shorin-Ryu Karate-Jutsu: A traditional art taught as a Karate-Jutsu, a non-sport Karate for the sole purpose of self-defense, not competition.
Juko-Ryu Aiki Inyo Goshinjutsu: A special division of Juko-Ryu Bujutsu that pertains to modern-day self-defense involving techniques such as wrist locks, effective blocking, throwing, combination movements and much more!
Juko-Ryu Aiki Inyo Toho: A superb sword art that focuses on three categories: 1) Iaijutsu (the quick draw method), 2) Kenjutsu (the use of the blade once drawn), 3) Battojutsu (specialized kata performed while walking).
Juko-Ryu Kempo Jujutsu: Simple body contact method of combat Jujutsu. It contains the throws most commonly associated with old-style Jujutsu and from which modern day Judo originated. It is a highly effective, close-in fighting art that requires a Kempo (hard-fist or foot) technique prior to the actual throw, lock, sweep, reap, break, etc.
Juko-Ryu Aiki Inyo Kempojutsu: A non-sport, non-kata, hard-fist combat art that was founded and developed by Soke Rod Sacharnoski as a method to open the door to an opponent's attack, thus enabling the Kempojutsu practitioner to enter and control the attacker.

Music is one of the only activities that uses both sides of the brain at the same time. We now have music instructors who offer piano lessons, guitar lessons, saxophone, flute and other instrumental coaching.
Taught by a professional dance instructor of over 11 years, couples ballroom dance lessons are offered inside the Juko-Ryu Toide & Martial Arts Center building in Warsaw for both youth and adults for any occasion.
